Excelis Medical Associates (EMA) is an independent, physician-owned, democratically operated emergency medicine group serving hospitals throughout the Tampa Bay area.
We are seeking full-time and part-time Physician Assistants to join our growing team at:
- St. Joseph's Hospital Main - Tampa
- St. Joseph's Hospital North - Lutz
- St. Joseph's Hospital South - Riverview
- BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel
Work alongside experienced emergency physicians and multidisciplinary teams in community, trauma, and stroke center environments.

New graduates receive comprehensive training and mentorship. Experienced Emergency Medicine PAs are eligible for a sign-on bonus and the opportunity to join an established, physician-led practice.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a broad range of acute conditions
- Perform comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing
- Provide care across a variety of medical and surgical presentations
- Work as part of a collaborative, supportive emergency medicine team
- Deliver safe, compassionate, patient-centered emergency care
- Work effectively in both community and higher-acuity emergency settings

Requirements
- Current Florida Physician Assistant license
- NCCPA certification, as applicable
- Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, Urgent Care, or related experience preferred
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Commitment to excellent patient care and teamwork
