ShimSpine Consulting is seeking board-certified orthopaedic surgeons in the Tampa Bay area to join our physician expert panel — a flexible, professionally rewarding engagement with no OR, no call, and no patient care obligations.
What You’ll Do
Perform Independent/Compulsory Medical Examinations (IME/CME) for personal injury, medical malpractice, and Workers’ Compensation cases
Conduct records reviews and provide written medical opinions grounded in accepted standards of care
Serve as an expert witness when called upon — depositions and courtroom testimony as your schedule permits
Collaborate with a skilled support team that handles all case organization, scheduling, and administrative processing

Qualifications
Active, unrestricted Florida medical license (M.D.)
Board Certification in Orthopaedic Surgery, Fellowship training in Spine preferable.
Commitment to forming opinions based on accepted standards of care
Ability to produce clear, timely written reports
Board specialty training relevant to the conditions under evaluation
