| Sr. Operations Specialist Position Summary: Honor Providers is hiring a Sr. Operations Specialist. This role will wear multiple hats with cross-functional responsibilities across legal, insurance, compliance, and contracting. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys designing workflows, and processes. Key Responsibilities: Risk Management and Insurance - Work alongside the CEO as the point of contact for the company’s insurance portfolio (medical malpractice, cyber, health, auto, and other lines), own certificates of insurance across the business, and develop strong relationships with the broker, carriers, and industry experts.
- Partner with legal and insurance advisors to enhance risk management policies and best practices, maintain a risk program, and assess risk severity and business impact establishing escalation thresholds and surfacing material risks to leadership with recommended actions.
- Audit contracts and current practices to refine a claims and loss-prevention program, covering risk assessment, vulnerability identification, and remediation of compliance gaps, and manage claims, incidents, and reporting requirements.
- Define risk requirements tied to Hospital and MSP obligations, and support business decisions in evaluating and managing additional-insured endorsements.
Contracting - Work with the CEO and Honor Providers’ legal experts to manage the contract process, negotiate contract terms and update corporate guidelines.
- Implement a standardized contracting workflow for client contracts including hospital and physician agreements.
- Coordinate execution and downstream communication of signed contracts so requirements and changes are understood across their respective departments (e.g., sales, travel, risk management, and quality assurance).
- Track vendor agreements and terms (e.g., staffing platforms, leases, and SaaS).
Compliance - Assess company controls to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Maintain current records for company, facility, and provider licenses, credentials, certifications and documents.
- Audit medical staff for quality assurance and to ensure audit readiness.
- Proactively manage spend increases and contract-renewal risk.
Business Administration & Operations - Establish and optimize the company’s administrative operations, standardizing workflows, improving processes, and providing day-to-day business support that today sits with the CEO, and implement changes that improve service, efficiency, and staff engagement.
- Support financial operations, including expense and cost management, and participate in annual operating and capital budgeting.
- Partner with leadership to prepare and present Executive Leadership summaries, maintain a consistent engagement cadence with functional leaders, and own the operations action log to ensure accountability and closure of open items.
- Contribute to an internal operations playbook, documenting processes, lessons learned, and best practices to improve future initiatives.
Technology Systems & Cross-Functional - Design workflows; collaborate with the technology team to implement systems towards a centralized CRM.
- Coordinate across accounting, finance, HR, and administration to keep operations running efficiently.
- Apply structured project management practices, defining scope, milestones, dependencies, ownership, and timelines, to drive cross-functional initiatives to completion.
- Map cross-functional interdependencies and proactively address sequencing conflicts, risks, and resource constraints.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of five years in relevant operations, contracting, or risk roles, ideally spanning healthcare, insurance or related field.
- Executive Leadership presence.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional programs, preferably in healthcare or similarly regulated environments.
Preferred Experience - Track record in a growing organization.
- Familiarity with staffing/MSP and VMS models
- Healthcare credentialing.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Post-merger integration, TSA management, or large-scale transformation initiatives.

Compensation & Hours Work Arrangement - Honor Providers is primarily an onsite organization; due to the nature of this role, it is 100% on-site in Fort Lauderdale.
